Can Women Owned Business be certified as minority owned by NMSDC? Print E-mail

   No, we certify ethnic owned companies based on their minority group. "Minority group"
   members are U.S. Citizens, who are African American, Hispanic American, Native
   American, Asian Pacific American, and Asian Indian American. The minority group
   or individual must own at least 51% of the business. In the case of publicly owned
   businesses, those minority group members must control at least 51% of operations.
